The Chaoyang Bird Fossil National Geopark is located at No. 100 Longniao Street, Longcheng District, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. It is a 4A level scenic spot, covering an area of 900 acres, and is known as the "world's treasure trove of ancient fossils". The main geological relics in the park include paleontological fossils, fossil bearing strata, and geological structures, with a total area of 207 square kilometers.

Tourist Route

After entering the park gate, follow the signs and pass through the geological corridor, wooden stone forest, paleontological fossil museum, and finally the fossil excavation experience camp. The whole process takes about 3-4 hours.

Main attractions

Main exhibition hall: This hall displays the treasure of the town hall, the "Chinese Loong bird" fossil, the world's largest dragonfly fossil, and the ancient ecological scene of dynamic projection restoration.

Fossil Corridor: Both sides of the open-air walkway are filled with real rock fossils, allowing visitors to observe these traces of ancient organisms up close.

Outdoor park: There are giant fossil stratigraphic sections, suitable for shooting sci-fi movies.

Hidden interactive area: The simulated fossil excavation area on the basement level is very interesting and suitable for parent-child travel.

Museum: The museum has a large number of multimedia displays and interactive devices, making it a great place for young people to explore the mysteries of the universe and learn about geological knowledge.

Tickets and Transportation

Various projects within the park can be purchased online, including electric vehicle rental and fossil mining experiences.

The park is 2 kilometers away from the high-speed railway station and 3 kilometers away from the highway intersection, with convenient transportation.
